HVAC Lead Installer

Job Summary: It is the responsibility of the Lead level 3 to install advanced HVAC systems and any other related HVAC components correctly and in a timely manner with a helper. A wide degree of creative design is expected along with the ability to lead and run a multiple crew install.Job DutiesWork safely following company policiesInstall HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specificationsWire both line and low voltage to heating and cooling equipmentInstall copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazingInstall sheet metal and flex duct systems in residential and light commercial buildingsProperly connect gas lines to heating equipmentPremeasure jobs to identify proper materials required for installReceive, verify and load all equipment and materials needed for each jobProvide assistance to other leads as directed by managementProvide training to helpers and prospective leadsDemonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiorsProperly fill out all paperwork required for each jobTake all readings on a machine and understand the importance of suchMaintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle Any other assigned duties as directed by managementEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or EquivalentEPA Certification requiredMinimum 5 years’ experience as a lead installerKey CompetenciesEffective written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service and problem solving skillsHonest and dependableMechanically inclinedAble to distinguish between different HVAC equipmentSelf-Motivated but able to take direction and be part of a teamProfessional Company ImageValid AZ driver’s License with a good driving recordMust be able to pass a criminal background checkMust be able to read and write in EnglishPhysical Requirements: Ability to safely lift up to 100lbs Able to tolerate high temperatures in attic areas Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawlPay Scale Pay will be based on experience and performance.Equal Employment OpportunityQuality Home Maintenance dba George Brazil Air Conditioning & Heating is committed to an equal employment opportunity.
