General Dentist – Pediatric Office | Bakersfield, CAFull-Time or Part-Time OpportunityA well-established pediatric-focused dental office in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a friendly, patient-centered General Dentist to join our growing team. This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, and new graduates with an interest in pediatrics are encouraged to apply.About the Opportunity:Join a supportive, family-friendly pediatric practice committed to providing gentle, high-quality care to children of all ages. Our ideal candidate is open to working in a pediatric environment—previous experience with children is a plus, but not required. You will be supported by a rotating team of assistants, ensuring you always have help chairside.Compensation Structure:Daily Base: $800–$900/day to start (flexible depending on experience).Compensation Model: Begin on a daily base, then transition to percentage of production after an initial period.Insurance & Payor Mix:Majority Medi-Cal (state insurance).Some PPO accepted.No HMO.Schedule:Open to Full-Time or Part-Time.Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.(Hours may shift slightly later in the future).Part-Time: Flexible, ideally Monday–Tuesday or Thursday–Friday (same hours).Clinical Scope:The doctor will focus on pediatric general dentistry. The following procedures are referred out:Implants.Periodontics.Oral Surgery.Endodontics.Orthodontics.Office Information:Team: 6 team members currently (actively hiring additional staff).Assistants: Rotating assistants—doctor will never work without support.Operatories:4 treatment rooms.6 open-bay hygiene chairs.Technology: Open Dental EHR; limited specialty equipment due to the nature of pediatric care.Benefits:401(k) offered after a period of employment.Additional benefits TBD and may be added as the practice grows.Why Join Us?This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist interested in developing or expanding skills in pediatric care while working in a positive, kid-friendly environment.
