The role of the Sales Associate is essential to internal and external, client-facing functions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Supports team, meet deadlines, and assists the sales team with day-to-day sales functions for the company Responsible for managing direct outreach including cold calling, LinkedIn to prospects using the company systems, tools, platforms, and softwareResponsible for researching and attending networking events and opportunities, including evening networking events.Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.Prospect for new clientsMake sales presentations, develop proposals and quotes, and close sales.Establish strong client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed.Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client supportMaintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success every dayConduct research, as neededEmbraces personal and professional development that promotes industry best practicesOwns sales processes end-to-end as assigned and overseen by managersKeeps all client information organized and up to date using company CRMSKILLS/CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED/PREFERRED:Trusted team memberPassion for marketing industry and excitement to collaborate in a fast-paced environmentPreferred experience in HubSpot, Pipe Drive or Salesforce, but not requiredWillingness to increase knowledge of Digital Marketing IndustryExhibit a strong team mindset with an ability work on cross functional teamsWorks proactively and volunteers assistance without being asked under tight schedules Strong organizational, prioritization, project management skills with meticulous attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal. Solution-orientedTeam player with a positive, can-do attitudeKnowledge of the social media universe including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, wikis, blogs and all emerging platforms. Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Programs and Outlook (electronic scheduling)Commits to 5 days/40 hours work week sufficient to cover responsibilities to clients and teams. EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED:Bachelor's degree – Digital Marketing, Communications or Other Related Degree2 years relevant work experience (including Internship and collegiate extracurriculars)
