We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth office operations by providing essential administrative support. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls, ensuring inquiries are addressed professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain and organize office documents and records for easy access and retrieval.
- Perform accurate data entry tasks to support business operations.
- Assist with receptionist duties, including welcoming guests and managing front desk activities.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and other office activities.
- Provide general administrative support to team members as needed.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documentation.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders to maintain inventory levels.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure deadlines and project goals are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using office equipment and software, including Office applications.
- Attentive to detail and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in administration are a plus.
