Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and ensure the delivery of exceptional software products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both manual and automated testing, including API, system, UI, and functional testing. This role involves designing and implementing robust test strategies, developing automation tools, and collaborating closely with development, operations, and business teams to maintain the highest quality standards across all product releases. The Senior QA Engineer will also drive innovation by integrating AI tools for test automation and improving overall QA processes.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases across UI, API, and system levels.

  • Perform black box, white box, functional, and performance testing to ensure product quality.

  • Review project requirements, specifications, and documentation to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Create, maintain, and enforce test automation standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Facilitate defect resolution, track issues through retesting, and ensure closure.

  • Define, track, and report QA KPIs and metrics to measure test effectiveness and product quality.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on testing, quality assurance, and release readiness.

  • Explore and integrate AI tools to enhance automated test script creation and execution.

  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the organization's culture and values.

Qualifications and Job Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience supporting full product release cycles, including production deployments.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

  • Strong experience with test and defect management processes.

  • Demonstrated expertise in Agile development environments.

  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools; experience with Playwright and Java preferred.

  • Solid experience in both manual and automated functional testing.

  • Performance testing experience using JMeter or equivalent tools.

  • Knowledge of integrating AI tools for automated test script generation.

  • Ability to create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality software products.
