Join our dynamic Quality Engineering team at Thomson Reuters, where you'll leverage your technical skills and business insight to drive the next generation of enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management applications. As part of our lively and innovative Commercial Engineering organization, you will be crucial in transforming our digital experiences and ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications and services.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will collaborate with technology professionals and business partners to implement innovative solutions. You will play a key role in building automated systems for testing, enhancing our CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your expertise in test automation and software engineering best practices to create automated systems for regression, performance, and load testing.
  • Translate new requirements into code, adopting unit testing, deployment, and continuous monitoring.
  • Design automated tests that integrate seamlessly into our software delivery process, ensuring efficient test execution and feedback.
  • Develop familiarity with modern DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, Continuous Testing, and Continuous Monitoring.
  • Build and enhance test data systems, utilizing synthetic test data as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with quality assurance teams to enhance performance and system stability across various third-party SaaS and PaaS technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with experience in designing cloud-native applications.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with a solid understanding of coding and software design principles.
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Node.js.
  • A strong passion for quality assurance and automation, with the ability to identify and resolve challenges effectively.
  • Creative mindset for identifying key metrics and measuring results to track progress in DevOps transformation.
  • Experience developing automated test scripts using tools and frameworks like QTP/UFT, Selenium, or Worksoft.
  • Knowledge of third-party technologies such as SAP, AEM, Salesforce, or Boomi.
  • A willingness to continuously learn, taking ownership of your work while demonstrating accountability and urgency.
