Buyer Mattress Merchandising

Rooms To Go is looking for an enthusiastic Buyer to join our Mattress Category team In this role, you'll assist with product selection, inventory flows (reorder buying), vendor coordination, and implement merchandising strategies that enhance both in?store and online experiences. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory and SKU lifecycles across multiple distribution centers to maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Coordinate with vendors, warehouses, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate purchase order deliveries.
  • Monitor store floor sample replenishments and aged product refreshes to maintain showroom appeal.
  • Ensure accurate price tag management and product information for all mattress SKUs.
  • Provide operational support through resolving receiving issues, invoice management, and price adjustments.
  • Curate and manage the in?store and online mattress lineup from SKU creation to onboarding.
  • Maintain online product data management and ensure accurate digital merchandising.
  • Support senior retail buyers and field sales trainers with day?to?day operations, including troubleshooting and process improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or similar years of experience.
  • Mattress industry experience in sales, training or buying is preferred.
  • Furniture Buying/Merchandising experience a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail?oriented and self?motivated.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and web merchandising.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast?paced environment.
  • Available to work varied days/hours. The usual schedule is 4 days a week in the office and 1 day remote. The position requires travel to vendor locations, trade shows, and Company stores as needed. Since the role supports retail stores, some evening or weekend hours are to be expected.
