Lead JS Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced JavaScript Developer to join our remote team based in France. The successful candidate will work closely with our leadership team in the USA and will be responsible for developing and maintaining a large Web application that interfaces with real-time data systems, including but not limited to displaying and visualizing real-time data on screen, alongside graphical editors and various form editors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively as part of a remote team based in France, with leadership in the USA
  • Develop and maintain the display of real-time-capable Web visualizations
  • Develop and maintain a graphical boxes-and-arrow editor with proper handling of synchronization across client-server, graphical display of source control conflicts, and scaling the user interface to various browser types and sizes
  • Collaborate with UX teams to evaluate redlines and wireframes
  • Evaluate JavaScript libraries in use today, and proactively determine best-fit for new libraries periodically
  • Collaborate with legal and security teams on third-party vulnerability mitigations and actions

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience as a JavaScript developer
  • At least 5 years of experience with real-time data systems
  • At least 5 years of experience working with UX teams
  • Prior experience authoring a graphical boxes-and-arrow editor
  • Fluency in English
