Customer Service Specialist

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be tasked with understanding the needs of our wholesale and retail clients, answering their inquiries about our wide range of products, and offering tailored solutions that suit their requirements.
Your role is essential in ensuring our customers are satisfied and their concerns are swiftly addressed. Staying updated on product features and maintaining the store’s visual and quality standards are critical to your success. You will play a key role in reaching our sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers in person and via phone by identifying needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
- Build and nurture trustworthy relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain detailed work order files and product formulas.
- Efficiently manage stock from the sales floor or warehouse.
- Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications as required.
- Keep shelves stocked and displays well-presented.
- Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
- Assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks and making deliveries when necessary.
- Maintain a presentable condition for all assigned areas of the store.
- Stay knowledgeable about product offerings to assist customers effectively.
- Adhere to inventory control procedures.
- Propose strategies for improving sales.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- Authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship.
- Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
- Hold a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Capable of lifting and carrying materials up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is preferred.
- At least one (1) year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service.
- Prior experience in selling paint and related products is a plus.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is highly desirable.
