Crisis Clinical Supervisor: Mobile Response and Stabilization Services

SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Mobile Response Stabilization Program Manager, the Licensed Shift Supervisor will take and assign crisis calls from the 24/7 hotline, ensuring clinicians respond face-to-face (in person or via video conferencing) to high-risk crisis situations within one hour. This role focuses on assessing youth and stabilizing families in crisis. There is no productivity expectation since calls are based on community needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provide effective clinical supervision to team members.
- Manage program needs including scheduling and administration to maintain high-quality therapeutic programming during shifts.
- Oversee agency-required documents and reporting systems.
- Flexibly step into clinical roles during staffing shortages to ensure continuous operations.
- Contribute to maintaining clinical records by completing documentation timely, adhering to licensing and accreditation standards.
- Respect client privacy and confidentiality, handling all client-related documents per agency guidelines.
OTHER DUTIES:
- Participate in scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and ongoing training.
- Maintain all required trainings, certifications, and licensure in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Uphold ethical and professional conduct standards, adhering to agency policies.
- Complete any additional duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Licensure: LISW, LPCC, or LMFT required.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Skillful in engaging with diverse populations and addressing complex psychiatric needs.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment in the role.
- Core expertise and up-to-date knowledge in the essential duties of the role.
- Cultural competency in working effectively with diverse individuals and communities.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to professional and ethical conduct, demonstrating honesty and accountability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a professional team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify issues and respond appropriately.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a mental health setting, working with youth and families.
- Knowledge of DSM-5 and diagnostic criteria; experience with family systems and crisis intervention is preferred.
- Other: First Aid and CPR training is mandatory and will be provided by the agency. A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets the agency's insurance criteria are required. Approval by Applewood is necessary to transport clients in personal vehicles.
