The compensation for Staff Accountant at Hotel Bel-Air would be $31.50/hr.

What you'll do

The primary duties and responsibilities of our Staff Accountant are as follows:
• Perform the daily income and cash/credit card reconciliations
• Completion of Daily Revenue Report
• Completes and reconciles daily revenue adjustments
• Distribute income audit reports and submits daily revenue adjustments for approval
• Compile sales and occupancy tax submissions along with commission payments
• Support the month-end closing process preparing journal entries and Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Complete AR functions, respond to guest inquiries via phone or email, prepares individual/group billing, attends Pre con meetings as needed.
• Complete AP functions, set up vendors in financial system, records & distributes invoices for approval, posts and disburse payments as needed.
• Complete General Cashiering functions as needed.
• Work with the Hotel Finance Team on the various financial audit tasks, helping to ensure a strong internal controls environment
• Prepare financial analysis for review as needed
• Special projects and other accounting duties as needed

What you'll bring

Here are the qualifications needed to join our team:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or Related required, with a concentration in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
  • Two years accounting or finance experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Working knowledge of accounting software application (Microsoft Dynamics GP, Micros, and/or Opera preferred)
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills for record keeping purposes
    Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
