We are currently hiring for a Care Management Support Coordinator at our Healthcare client This position is remote but must reside in EST hours. Temp opportunity to start with potential for extension and/or permanent hire Hours: M-F, 8AM-5PM EST Pay Rate: $22-23/hr depending on open position client requirements Start Date: typically 2-3 weeks from offer 100% Remote - must reside in EST timezone - equipment is shipped High volume inbound and outbound calls Must complete typing and computer literacy assessment Minimum 2 years of Heathcare call center experience required

  • Peer to peer phone scheduling team taking LIVE calls from providers that have received a denial for an authorization.
  • The purpose of a p2p is for the provider and internal MD to have a conversation to see if additional information can be obtained to support medical necessity and overturn a denial.
  • The work environment is fast-paced and remote with a large emphasis on customer service, research, and problem-solving skills. Breaks and lunches are schedule due to working in a live phone queue call center environment.

Responsibilities

Provides support to members to connect them to other health plan and community resources to ensure they are receiving high-quality customer care/service

May apply working knowledge of assigned health plan(s) activities and resources

Serves as the front-line support on various member and/or provider inquiries, requests, or concerns which may include explaining care plan procedures, and protocols

Supports member onboarding and day-to-day administrative duties including sending out welcome letters, related correspondence, and program educational materials to assist in the facilitation of a successful member/provider relationship

Documents and maintains non-clinical member records to ensure standards of practice and policies are in accordance with state and regulatory requirements and provide to providers as needed
