Product Lead For Uber's Cross Platform Consumer Experience Team

As the overall product lead for Uber's Cross Platform Consumer Experience Team, you'll play a key role in shaping a seamless, cross-platform consumer journey that helps customers get anything they want from local merchants and go anywhere with Uber. This team is at the forefront of that expansion, with broader ambitions to create anchor experiences that tie Uber's products together into a cohesive ecosystem. In this role, you will drive consumer cross-platform efforts at Uber. This includes merchandising Rides to Eats, Eats to Rides, and Eats to Grocery across Rides, Eats, and Grocery app placements; crafting new user experiences that leverage Uber's Rides and Eats businesses to deliver compelling, integrated journeys that anchor users and drive new adoption; and devising new measurement and decision frameworks that encourage a long-term view of users, promoting durable cross-platform behavior. You will also partner closely with operations, data science, design, engineering, marketing, and other teams to bring these efforts to life at scale.

The opportunities to evolve Uber's consumer experience across platforms are vast, and we are only just getting started. You will lead and influence product roadmaps across multiple consumer surfaces. A representative sampling of areas you and your team might tackle include: identifying and addressing barriers to cross-platform trial among existing users, designing experiences that help them expand usage across Rides, Eats, and Grocery; growth hacking the app ecosystem to increase the number of users engaging across multiple product lines; developing and executing top-of-funnel strategies that position Uber as more than just rides or restaurant delivery-showcasing it as a destination for everyday needs; defining new measurement functions that emphasize long-term user value and reward cross-platform engagement; and partnering with platform teams to optimize mid- and bottom-of-funnel experiences, such as high-conversion grocery storefronts or bundled cross-product offerings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years experience delivering successful and innovative consumer products
  • Direct experience in consumer growth, funnel optimization, experimentation, and e-commerce tactics
  • People management experience with the ability to set vision and influence across teams
  • Technical depth and comfort collaborating closely with engineering
  • Customer obsession with a proven ability to simplify complex challenges into elegant solutions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to self-serve and interpret data into actionable insights
  • Bias for action, grit, and a high bar for both product quality and team performance
  • Passion for Uber's mission and excitement about its hybrid technology/operations nature

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building products from 0 to 1
  • Background in consumer experience, platforms, etc.
