Randstad is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Portfolio Manager to join our client's team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing portfolios within a PMO (Project Management Office) environment, with specific experience in leading ServiceNow projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively oversee and optimize a portfolio of ServiceNow initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management and oversight of the ServiceNow project portfolio, ensuring projects are aligned with business goals and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with PMO leadership to develop and implement portfolio management strategies, frameworks, and processes.
  • Monitor project performance across the portfolio, providing regular updates to stakeholders and recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project execution, including resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the portfolio, leveraging best practices and lessons learned to enhance project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all ServiceNow portfolio-related matters, facilitating communication between stakeholders, project teams, and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO governance standards, methodologies, and tools across the ServiceNow portfolio.
  • Identify and manage interdependencies between projects, ensuring efficient resource utilization and minimizing risks.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers within the portfolio, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in portfolio management within a PMO environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering ServiceNow projects.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in portfolio management tools and methodologies.
  • PMP, ITIL, or ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
