What You Will Do:
• Support hydromechanical component assembly as it relates to manufacturing engineering
• Develop, produce, and modify process operation and assembly sheets using Solumina
• Use GD&T and integrate it within a production process with a keen understanding of B/P interpretation as it relates to specification requirements
• Design and 3D print fixturing for manufacturing application
• Mark-up requirements for fixtures, tools, and gages
• Use a developed understanding of 5S & TPM methods for test rigs & equipment
• Support supplier questions about fixtures and part requirements
• Identify areas for improved product manufacturability, reduced product cost, or improved product reliability
• Communicates technical subject matter proficiently, both written and verbally
• Respond effectively in high-paced environment
• Test rig & systems troubleshooting (cause & effect)
• Use RCCA methodology to drive down product non-conformance
• Rationalize and implement inspection methods and techniques
• Project manage and follows up on tasks daily
• Create presentations based on process data and results to show opportunities for productivity improvements and cost savings
• Manage various project and process tasks related to product quality
• Create all shadow boarding for necessary tooling

What You Will Bring:
• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of various tools, gages, and fixtures
• Proficient in blueprint reading
• Possesses a working knowledge of 3D modeling
• Familiarity with Teamcenter and NX, Solumina preferred
• Self-motivated to ensure accountability, disciplined to improve processes, passionate about engineering, and organized to track many work streams
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Organized with the ability to multi-task while driving actions to completion
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel

Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 a year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements: This role is considered a second shift, on-site position located in Windsor Locks, CT.
  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.

Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
