Salary: Up to $117,000 per year

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team and help drive our IT projects to success. Located in the heart of downtown Cleveland, our company offers a collaborative work environment and a competitive compensation package. As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business needs and IT solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze business requirements, design efficient IT solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid schedule, combining both in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
  • Analyze and prioritize project requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
  • Conduct thorough system and data analysis, including data modeling and process mapping.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and test plans.
  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate testing efforts with QA teams.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure project success.
  • Provide support during the implementation phase and post-implementation reviews.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT business analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.
