We are looking for driven Account Executives who are eager to harness resources and support to drive new Hybrid Cloud Managed Services and Professional Services business while influencing the future of cloud solutions.
You are a motivated and intellectually curious hunter, passionate about cloud technology, with a proven track record in building pipelines from scratch, engaging executive buyers, and consistently converting opportunities into successful bookings. You thrive in consultative sales environments and bring strong communication skills, executive presence, and the discipline to manage a high-performance funnel with a target pipeline-to-quota ratio of 5:1.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Execution & Pipeline Development: Utilize your expertise to create net-new pipelines, drive outbound prospecting, and convert qualified opportunities into closed deals.
- Sales Performance & Revenue Growth: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, benefiting from a competitive commission plan and a robust sales funnel.
- Pipeline & Deal Management: Build and manage a strong enterprise pipeline, guiding opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle while maintaining a 5:1 funnel-to-quota ratio.
- Cloud Ecosystem & Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships within the AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud ecosystems to drive new business initiatives and stay ahead of market trends.
- Multi-Channel Sales Execution: Execute sales for cloud and professional services through Cox Business, indirect partners, internal units, and industry events.
- Consultative & Value-Based Selling: Identify client needs, propose customized hybrid cloud and IT transformation solutions, and articulate the business value of RapidScale's offerings via a consultative sales approach.
- CRM & Data Insights: Leverage Salesforce for tracking prospects, managing opportunities, and providing insights to refine forecasting and strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Negotiation: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery while leading negotiations for favorable contract terms.
- Industry & Competitive Awareness: Remain informed about market dynamics, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning to optimize sales strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Account Executive II: Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of Sales experience, or Master's Degree with 4 years, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
- Senior Account Executive: Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with 6+ years, or 12+ years of experience without a degree.
- Sales Hunter Mentality: Proven success in building pipelines through outbound efforts and closing complex enterprise IT or cloud deals.
- IT Sales Expertise: Experience selling IT, cloud, or managed services solutions to decision-makers, with a strong history in new business development and value-based sales.
- Channel & Direct Sales Experience: Familiarity with both indirect and direct sales strategies.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 25-50% for customer engagements, presentations, and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP partner programs for business development.
- Industry experience in Healthcare, Financial Services, SaaS, or E-Commerce is highly desirable.
Compensation:
The salary ranges from $101,800.00 to $152,600.00, plus an annual incentive or commission target of $85,000.00. Your specific salary may vary based on location and experience.
Benefits:
We offer eligible employees the flexibility of taking paid vacation as per their work duties, alongside seven paid holidays annually and up to 160 hours of paid wellness time. Additional paid leave is available for bereavement, jury duty, voting, military service, volunteering, and parental leave.
