Facilities Engineer
Key Responsibilities:

System Design & Optimization:
  • Design and implement upgrades or modifications to facility infrastructure to meet production demands.
  • Evaluate and improve energy efficiency and resource utilization.
Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure all facility operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety improvements for equipment and infrastructure.
Project Management:
  • Plan and execute facility-related projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with contractors and vendors.
  • Provide technical support for new equipment installations and facility expansions.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for facility equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed records of facility systems, equipment manuals, and maintenance schedules.
  • Prepare regular reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and energy usage.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in facilities engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or foundry environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in CAD software and facility management systems.
    • Strong understanding of foundry processes and associated facility requirements.
    • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to high temperatures, noise, and dust in a foundry environment.
  • May require standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods.
  • Occasional after-hours work for emergency repairs or maintenance.
