Job: Crew Member – Plumbing

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled Journeyman Plumber's to join our team. This position involves working indoors at a fixed location, performing plumbing installation, maintenance, and repairs. The ideal candidate will have experience in reading blueprints, troubleshooting issues, ensuring all work meets safety and building codes, and directing a crew of up to six plumbers to ensure efficient project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems within a single facility.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks and clogs.
• Perform inspections and testing to ensure plumbing systems comply with regulations.
• Work with various plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe cutters, wrenches, and soldering tools.
• Lead and direct a crew of up to six plumbers, ensuring quality workmanship and efficient task completion.
• Assign tasks, provide guidance, and oversee work to maintain high standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and facility managers to ensure proper installation.
• Follow safety guidelines and building codes to ensure compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members and management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Journeyman Plumber License (state certification required).
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in plumbing installation and repair.
• Proven leadership experience in directing a team of plumbers or apprentices.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable).

Work Schedule & Environment:

• 4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday), 6:00AM - 4:00PM or 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM for a better work-life balance.
• Indoor work only with no outdoor assignments.
• Fixed location—no travel between job sites required.
