Position Overview:

Join our dynamic Neurocritical Care team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner We are looking for dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to deliver exceptional care to critically ill neuroscience patients. Our multidisciplinary team focuses on managing complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions, including strokes, skull base surgeries, and spinal cord injuries.

Location: 79 Jefferson Street, Hartford, 06102

Schedule: Full-time, permanent night shifts with rotating days, weekends, and holidays.

Role Responsibilities:

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will conduct physical exams, develop treatment plans, and collaborate closely with the care team to ensure all patient needs are met. Your role will include:

  • Performing routine physical examinations and formulating comprehensive medical plans.
  • Identifying health issues and collaborating on treatment or referrals.
  • Providing care within your scope and adhering to established protocols.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligibility).
  • Training: Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
