Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Electrophysiology Advanced Practitioner to join our growing team. This role is suited for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is ready to make a significant impact in an ambulatory setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating new patients with various cardiac rhythm issues.
- Assessing and managing patients with arrhythmias.
- Conducting pre-admission testing for cardiac electrophysiology procedures.
- Performing checks and remote monitoring for cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs).
- Facilitating work-ups and interventions, including pacemaker and defibrillator implantation as well as catheter ablation procedures.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to adjust patient care plans as needed.
- Actively participating in quality management initiatives to enhance patient and system outcomes.
This position may require travel to multiple locations across Connecticut.
Main Location: 863 N. Main Street Ext., Suite 101, Wallingford
Other Location: Hartford Hospital
Schedule: Full Time

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master's program.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Connecticut.
- Certification as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an APRN through AACN or ANCC.
- Preferred experience in cardiology, particularly in Electrophysiology.
- Highly desired experience in cardiac device management.
