Job Title: Systems Engineer II (Cleared)

Location: Tucson, AZ (100% Onsite)

Program: Effectors Test Equipment Engineering (TEE)

Work Schedule: 9/80 (Every other Friday off)

Security Clearance: Active Secret (Required to Start)

This role focuses on test station engineering, not weapon system or mission system integration. The engineer writes and manages requirements for the test equipment and test station itself, supporting how hardware is verified and validated throughout development and production. Candidates must have hands-on experience with automated test equipment and bench-level test systems.

• Translating customer or system needs into test station requirements
• Writing verification and validation methods for test equipment
• Hands-on experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, and PXI-based systems
• Understanding of test bench and ATE architecture
• Requirements traceability using DOORS or equivalent tools
• Collaboration with electrical, software, and test engineers
• Supporting test station upgrades and lifecycle improvements
• Documenting instrumentation interfaces and DUT connections

LEVEL II - Systems Engineer II (ENG02)

Pay: Up to $67.50/hr

Experience Required: 2+ years or Advanced STEM degree

Education: Bachelor's in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Software, or related STEM discipline

Core Focus:

Entry to mid-level systems engineering support for test system and test station design, requirements development, and verification activities.

Key Skills and Tools:
  • Systems engineering applied to automated test equipment
  • Test station requirements development and documentation
  • Verification and validation planning for test equipment
  • Test setup, hardware integration, and embedded test protocols
  • ATE platforms including LabVIEW, TestStand, PXI
  • Requirements traceability and lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with DoD programs and test methodologies
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate across engineering disciplines to define test station and test environment requirements
  • Develop and maintain system-level documentation for test equipment
  • Support test system design, integration, and verification and validation
  • Identify technical risks and propose solutions related to test architecture and execution
  • Support test station upgrades, production transition, and cost improvement initiatives
