Schedule Details:
$10,000 SIGN-ON Bonus for eligible candidates, plus a $2,000 bonus for PM shifts. Join our amazing OR team in a facility that thrives on innovation and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a clean and efficient surgical area, applying aseptic techniques during preparations and procedures
  • Maintain knowledge about various surgical procedures and equipment, ensuring operational preparedness
  • Assist with patient positioning and utilize proper transfer techniques
  • Act as a second assistant as needed and support the main surgical team
  • Manage supplies, notifying staff of any equipment issues
  • Demonstrate age-specific understanding of patient care needs and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire, unless otherwise exempt
  • Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and operating room protocols
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, including lifting and transporting patients or equipment, utilizing proper techniques, and working with potential hazards in the operating room setting.
