Description

We are seeking a technical leader to lead our Project Execution team responsible for implementing advanced automation technologies across our network. In this role, you will lead a team that structures and scales projects such as IBIS and AutoStore, ensuring successful installation, integration, commissioning, and training of RME personnel on all new technologies. Your team will develop comprehensive documentation for RME to successfully operate and maintain these assets while optimizing asset operation to maximize throughput.

Note: Candidate can sit out of any office in US.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead a team of six direct reports who manage technology implementation projects across the network

  • Oversee the installation, integration, and commissioning of advanced automation technologies including IBIS and AutoStore

  • Develop and implement training, spares and support programs for RME personnel to ensure successful operation and maintenance of new technologies

  • Create comprehensive documentation for operational procedures, maintenance protocols, and troubleshooting guides

  • Optimize asset operation to maximize throughput and efficiency

  • Manage project handoffs to the Field Support Team once implementation is complete

  • Follow the 3P labor model for full installations

  • Define and track success metrics for technology launches, including on-time delivery and successful RME handoffs

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of manufacturing or manufacturing engineering experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement principles & techniques

  • Experience in complex work environments, including (but not limited to robotics, automation, diagnostic and test equipment)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
