Responsibilities Include:

  • Achieve Sales Goals: Drive your principals' objectives by delivering on volume and sales fundamentals at assigned customers, all while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Strategic Planning: Create a robust Customer Business Plan that aligns with your principals' priorities for sustained success.
  • Client Engagement: Directly interact with key decision-makers to present and promote business plans, programs, and concepts aimed at boosting business outcomes.
  • Cost Management: Maximize revenue through effective cost strategies, overseeing all expenditures related to manufacturers at your customer accounts.
  • In-Store Presence: Ensure a competitive in-store presence through regular communication with customer headquarters and operational staff.
  • Trade Marketing: Manage trade marketing funds efficiently and leverage data to promote concepts to customers.
  • Budget Adherence: Operate efficiently within designated budgets to optimize resource utilization.
  • Proactive Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with key principals to ensure collaboration and alignment.
  • Retail Initiatives: Work alongside Retail Sales Managers on major retail strategies, including product launches and promotions.
  • Market Knowledge: Utilize insights about customers and the marketplace to engage marketing, technology, and administrative resources effectively.
  • Timely Information Sharing: Keep Retail Sales Managers and supervisors informed about selling priorities and strategies.
  • Team Collaboration: Share insights and information across teams to enhance collective success and organizational capacity.
  • Technology Utilization: Use technology and systems to support the goals of the Customer Business Plan and continuously improve your tech skills.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Provide constructive feedback to your Team Leader and/or General Manager on potential improvements to operations.
  • Special Projects: Undertake special projects as needed to contribute to team success.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • At least six months of experience in retail (CPG), marketing, space management, or related fields is preferred. Experience in sales administration or finance is a plus.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and web applications.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Able to handle multiple projects concurrently.
