Century Group is partnering with our client, a growing company that is offering a fantastic opportunity as a temporary Accounts Payable Accountant. This role is a 3+ month(s) temporary opportunity and is fully onsite in Tustin, California. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $30.00 to $36.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle full-cycle AP processing, including invoice entry, approval, and payment.
  • Process high-volume invoices efficiently while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals and AP-related journal entries.
  • Maintain AP records and documentation for audits and financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate strong experience with Oracle software for AP processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Previous experience in high-volume invoice processing in a corporate environment.
  • Exhibit the ability to analyze and reconcile accounts payable data accurately.
  • Apply an excellent attention to detail as well as organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Reflect a strong understanding of accounts payable processes, general accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of effective problem-solving and possesses efficient communication skills to resolve vendor and payment issues.
  • Prior experience in maintaining compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
