Accounts Payable SpecialistThe Accounting Clerk will provide administrative support to our Accounting Department, specifically in Accounts Payable. Responsibilities include handling the administrative and clerical needs of the AP/Finance Department, assisting with the processing of accounts payable, executing daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies, providing customer service to internal business partners, providing internal and external audit assistance as required, sorting, logging, photocopying, and filing invoices, checks, and other documents, verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling, and performing special projects as assigned. Other duties as assigned.Essential skills include a high school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelor's degree in accounting preferred. Ability to understand the principles and procedures of bookkeeping and record-keeping, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, accuracy in accounting, organized with great attention to detail and the ability to problem solve independently, outstanding work ethic, a team player, with good listening skills, proactive and follows through on commitments, proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Additional skills and qualifications include experience with accounts payable, invoice processing, purchase orders, and three-way matching, proficiency in Epicor, pivot tables, and V-lookups in Excel, and 2-3+ years of relevant experience.The position is fully onsite in Tustin, within a cubicle office setting. The team has a close-knit, family feel, with employee lunches every other Wednesday. There is growth potential for those interested in learning more within Accounts Receivable or collections. The company offers financial stability and opportunities for advancement.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tustin, CA. The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
