Description

Join Leidos as a skilled and cleared Cybersecurity Vulnerability Analyst in the Multi-Domain Solutions Division. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in support of large-scale weapon systems, Information Technology Systems, and Command and Control Systems. You'll play a crucial role in realizing the Department of Defense's Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) and aiding the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) team to deliver timely and secure solutions that enhance operational advantages for the joint warfighter.

As a top modernization initiative for the Department of the Air Force, ABMS is at the forefront of network-centric battle management, and you will collaborate closely with Program Managers, domain engineers, and partners from both Government and Industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze new security tools and technologies, assessing their impact on existing systems and workflows.

  • Document and assist in implementing the configuration settings and requirements for security solutions.

  • Ensure security changes comply with RMF, DoD, and NIST standards, verifying their technical soundness.

  • Identify gaps in cyber tools and processes, assisting in the implementation of new solutions.

  • Apply DISA STIGs, assisting in their implementation and verification across various systems.

  • Contribute to security monitoring and incident response through SIEM technologies.

  • Collaborate with team members to effectively communicate and document security requirements and configurations.

  • Maintain awareness of software development product lines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Local to Richardson, TX or Greenville, TX.

  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II compliant certification required (e.g., CompTIA Security+).

  • Active and current Secret Clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.

  • Over two years of experience in system, OS security, or network security is essential.

  • Proficiency with Tenable Nessus, Nessus Manager, Tenable.sc, or other vulnerability scanning and management tools.

  • Basic hands-on experience with command-line interfaces on various operating systems including Linux and Windows.

  • Familiarity with Bash and PowerShell for scripting and automation.

Additional Qualifications/Certifications:

  • Familiarity with other vulnerability scanning or security tools such as Anchore, OpenSCAP, and Docker.

  • Experience with scripting or automation to streamline scanning and reporting.

  • Knowledge of containerization platforms and orchestration tools.

  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as SSCP, CCSP, CEH, PenTest+, or others are advantageous.
