Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Preparing and organizing the operating room to assist in surgical procedures
  • Ensuring the maintenance of sterile fields and compliance with infection control protocols
  • Providing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants during procedures
  • Handling and managing surgical equipment throughout the surgical process
  • Keeping track of supplies and confirming readiness for each operation
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and anesthesiologists, for optimal patient care
  • Documenting and maintaining accurate surgical counts and records
Education Requirements:
  • A degree from an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Certifications Needed:
  • Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is mandatory
  • BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
Essential Skills and Attributes:
  • In-depth knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures across various specialties
