Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

The newly built Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, located in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated professionals. This is a full-time, employed physician position with a Monday Friday work schedule. The psychiatrist will provide care in adult inpatient services and consultative liaison coverage. Key Responsibilities:
- Admissions and discharges of patients in the inpatient setting.
- Daily patient care management for an assigned caseload.
- Consultations across various hospital departments.
- Collaboration with Emergency Department Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs), GWU Residents, and Medical Students.
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified (BE/BC) in Psychiatry.
- Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team that includes Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Therapists, Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Care Coordinators, and Mental Health Workers.
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
- Board-eligible or certified in Psychiatry.
- Licensure to practice in Washington, DC or ability to obtain licensure.
- At least 4-5 years of training or relevant experience in Psychiatry.
- Meets all credentialing criteria for physicians.
- Competitive full-time salary of $295,000-$315,000.
