JOB SUMMARY: The Shareholder Outreach Coordinator serves as a primary liaison between the Doyon Family of Companies and shareholders by providing information on employment, training, and career opportunities. This position supports recruitment efforts, builds relationships with stakeholders, and assists shareholders in preparing for and accessing job opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Collect, track, and analyze shareholder employment data
  • Support recruitment strategies, initiatives, and reporting
  • Assist shareholders in identifying jobs that align with their skills and interests
  • Source shareholder candidates using databases, networking, and outreach methods
  • Serve as a first point of contact for shareholder applicants
  • Promote Doyon career opportunities and employer benefits
  • Develop outreach communications and materials
  • Support recruitment trips, shareholder meetings, and outreach events
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR teams, village councils, and tribal offices
  • Provide administrative support for workforce development programs and shareholder events
  • Assist with meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and budgeting tasks
  • Arrange and support department meetings and conferences, including preparing agendas, meeting packets, taking notes, and compiling minutes
  • Track actions related to the Shareholder Hire Plan and workforce development goals
  • Order outreach and promotional materials
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative or secretarial experience, with the option to substitute an associate degree for 2 years or a bachelor's degree for 4 years.
  • Two (2) years of human resource experience.
  • Experience hosting/managing virtual meetings via Zoom or Teams
  • Strong computer and database skills
  • High level of interpersonal and confidentiality skills
  • Ability to multitask and work cross-culturally, especially with Alaska Native communities
  • Valid Alaska Driver's License
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in oil & gas, construction, tourism, security, or natural resources
  • Experience working with data and analytics
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG Pro, iCIMS)


WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
