Pharmacy Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pharmacy Manager to elevate the pharmacy experience for our patients. In this role, you will provide expert consulting on medication use, potential interactions, and promote a range of clinical healthcare services, including immunizations and diagnostic testing. You will ensure the accuracy of medication compounding and dispensing while managing an efficient pharmacy workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance Patient Experience:
- Welcome patients and provide assistance with products and services to ensure satisfaction.
- Model exceptional customer service for team members, focusing on genuine care and support.
- Proactively connect with patients, offering services like medication management and wellness consultations.
- Operational Excellence:
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and over-the-counter options.
- Conduct pharmacist duties such as verification and medication management.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and operational standards.
- Collaborate with staff to enhance workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Team Leadership:
- Work with the Store Manager on hiring, development, and performance management of pharmacy staff.
- Recognize and reward staff achievements to foster a motivated work environment.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure best practices in pharmacy performance.
- Participate in training and development opportunities for personal and team growth.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the relevant states.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in relevant areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a supervisory role within a pharmacy setting.
- A minimum of 6 months working experience with Walgreens.
