Become the Wound Care Program Coordinator you've always aspired to be:
- Oversee and develop wound care services in compliance with regulatory standards and physician directives.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to provide expert guidance on wound care treatments.
- Initiate educational programs for hospital staff on wound care topics and inform patients and family members about wound management.
- Stay on the cutting edge of wound care through continuous education and by keeping abreast of the latest techniques and advancements.
Qualifications:
- License/Certification: RN, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- Education & Experience:
- Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
- Ongoing education in wound care through seminars or professional organizations is essential.
- Skills: Strong communication, decision-making abilities, and the capability to work independently.
