Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing accounting team. This role is responsible for full-cycle AP processing and requires strong technical and analytical skills, particularly in Excel. The workload varies seasonally in line with the company's production cycles-ranging from 500-600 invoices per week during peak season to approximately 100 per week during off-season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processing
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
• Support month-end close and reporting activities
• Maintain organized records and assist with audits as needed
• Utilize a cloud-based ERP system and advanced Excel functionality

Requirements:

• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs required)
• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
• Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
• Cloud-based ERP experience required

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $55K-$65K (conversion target)
