What you'll do on overnights:
- Provide personal care with dignity (bathing, toileting, grooming)
- Offer companionship & reassurance; monitor for safety throughout the night
- Assist with transfers/mobility (training provided; safe techniques emphasized)
- Prepare light snacks/next-day setup; light housekeeping as needed
- Follow each client's personalized Plan of Care
- Document visits via mobile app and communicate updates to the care team
Must-haves:
- A genuine heart for seniors and helping others
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Smartphone (for schedule, care notes, and team communication)
- Ability to pass required screenings (Level 2 background check and other pre-hire steps)
- Respect for confidentiality, client rights, and professional boundaries
- Reliable, on-time, and able to stay awake/alert the full shift
Great-to-have (we can train the right person):
- CNA/HHA or prior home care experience
- Dementia/Alzheimer's care familiarity
- Transfer assistance experience (gait belt, slide board, etc.)
- Comfort with pets and common household environments
Schedule & coverage:
- Awake overnight shifts (common blocks: 8p8a, 9p7a, 10p6a)
- Cases across Sarasota (e.g., Palmer Ranch, Gulf Gate, Siesta Key, Downtown, Fruitville, South Sarasota)

Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
