Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 eligible with distance-based relocation, plus $2,000 for evening shifts.

Join our amazing Operating Room Team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, the largest hospital in Wisconsin with a renowned heart-care team available 24/7. We are committed to providing innovative, compassionate care and are looking for dedicated individuals like you to be part of our mission.

Schedule/Hours: Full-time evening shifts with on-call duties typically requiring a 30-minute arrival time. Expected call frequency varies based on staffing needs.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a sterile and safe environment for optimal patient care.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques in preparing materials and equipment for surgeries.
  • Assist with a range of surgical procedures and anticipate surgeons' needs.
  • Ensure the efficient setup of the operating room.
  • Transport patients and maintain inventory of surgical supplies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate patient care.

Licensure, Registration, and Certification:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months if not previously obtained.

Education:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Experience:

  • No experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understanding of aseptic surgical techniques.
  • Ability to operate various equipment in the operating room.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Capability to lift and transport patients and medical equipment safely.
