Risk Analyst

A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Risk Analyst to support the operation of the enterprise risk function. This role is responsible for evaluating and analyzing risks of varying complexity, identifying potential exposures, and recommending solutions to mitigate operational, financial, and regulatory risks.

About the Opportunity:
• Shift: Standard business hours
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Corporate / Financial Services
• Additional Details: Candidates should have a strong understanding of business needs and basic proficiency in risk assessment procedures.

Responsibilities:
The Risk Analyst will be responsible for:
• Planning and developing specialized risk assessment scopes
• Collaborating with management and personnel to optimize risk assessment strategies
• Identifying potential business, operational, and regulatory risks, as well as improvement opportunities
• Gathering and synthesizing data, presenting conclusions, and recommending mitigation, remediation, or process improvement solutions
• Leading or conducting specialized risk assessments and testing lifecycles for business activities, processes, policies, and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements, laws, and company standards

Qualifications:
• Basic understanding of business operations and the enterprise environment
• Knowledge of risk-based auditing techniques and methodologies
• Familiarity with applicable federal and state regulations, company policies, and industry best practices
• Project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Understanding of operational and regulatory risk control concepts and practices
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Auditing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
• Desired: Master's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience

• Detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize data and provide actionable insights
