Business Systems Analyst

We're looking for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with expertise in the health insurance domain. This role requires a strong blend of technical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams. You'll work on translating business needs into actionable system requirements, leveraging data and web technologies to deliver impactful solutions.
This job will have the following responsibilities: Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to analyze and document requirements. Define and document data transformation needs, including sample queries and metadata mapping using BigQuery datasets for reporting, analytics, and validation. Create interactive mock-ups and dashboard layouts to visualize insights and communicate findings effectively. Collaborate with UI/front-end developers to ensure usability, performance, and alignment with business goals. Support API design and integration for web applications. Conduct business process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments for system improvements in the insurance space. Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test cases and validating system behavior. Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to ensure technical feasibility and clarity for enhancements. Qualifications & Requirements: Experience: 3-5 years as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in health insurance or healthcare. Data Skills: Advanced proficiency in BigQuery (mandatory) and SQL for data extraction and reporting. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and front-end frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular). Reporting & Visualization: Ability to define dashboard requirements and create interactive presentations for stakeholders. Documentation: Skilled in writing BRDs, FRDs, Use Cases, and User Stories. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to translate complex data into actionable insights. Work Style: Strong time management and ability to work independently in an agile environment.
