QLI is hiring a full-time Communications Specialist. If you are a creative, compassionate and collaborative writer and content creator who can quickly build deep and trusting relationships with a wide array of people, this may be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

The ideal candidate requires a prowess with the written word, a passion for storytelling, and media relations skills. An emphasis is placed on writing skills but experience in video creation and editing is a huge plus. They will serve as a liaison with all media outlets and will work alongside the fundraising, public relations, and marketing teams to create a variety of long and short-form internal and external communications such as blog entries, stories, press releases, newsletters, and social media posts.

Education and Certifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old (required)
  • Degree in journalism, public relations, or similar field (strongly preferred)
Vaccination Requirements: Annual flu vaccine is required during flu season. If needed, we will provide vaccination at QLI, free of charge.

Schedule: Full-time
