We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Shipping Supervisor

Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or a related field preferred.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certification desired.
  • 3+ years of experience supervising shipping/receiving staff in a union warehouse in a lean environment.
  • Experience with inventory optimization to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Proven track record in safety management to maintain high safety standards.
  • Expertise in warehouse control for effective oversight and management of warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly Oracle, for seamless integration and data management.
Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include:
  • Oversee and participate in all aspects of shipping and receiving operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Lead and coordinate the activities of departments or teams involved in product distribution.
  • Analyze financial reports, sales data, and performance metrics to assess productivity, track goal progress, and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Manage team members by creating work schedules and assigning specific tasks.
  • Direct and manage financial planning and budgeting efforts to optimize operations, maximize investments, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and proper stock levels.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Maintain stock availability to minimize shortages and ensure timely distribution.
  • Set and implement facility goals, objectives, and procedures, collaborating with senior management and staff to align strategies.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 11pm
  • Located in: Feasterville
