Employee Assistance Program Requirements We are searching for a candidate with: Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or a related field preferred. Lean and/or Six Sigma certification desired. 3+ years of experience supervising shipping/receiving staff in a union warehouse in a lean environment. Experience with inventory optimization to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Proven track record in safety management to maintain high safety standards. Expertise in warehouse control for effective oversight and management of warehouse operations. Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly Oracle, for seamless integration and data management. Duties and Responsibilities A typical day may include: Oversee and participate in all aspects of shipping and receiving operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes. Lead and coordinate the activities of departments or teams involved in product distribution. Analyze financial reports, sales data, and performance metrics to assess productivity, track goal progress, and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvements. Manage team members by creating work schedules and assigning specific tasks. Direct and manage financial planning and budgeting efforts to optimize operations, maximize investments, and improve overall efficiency. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and proper stock levels. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and present recommendations to leadership. Maintain stock availability to minimize shortages and ensure timely distribution. Set and implement facility goals, objectives, and procedures, collaborating with senior management and staff to align strategies.
