Preventative Maintenance Technician - Second Shift (3pm-11:30pm)

Overview:
A leading industrial facility in Lansing, MI is hiring a Preventative Maintenance Technician to join its growing operations team. This second-shift position is critical in ensuring smooth, uninterrupted production by performing routine maintenance, equipment inspections, and timely repairs.

?? Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform regular equipment inspections and report potential hazards or inefficiencies
  • Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance work, inspections, and parts used
  • Work collaboratively with the production and maintenance teams to prioritize tasks
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and maintenance protocols
  • Be consistently available for the assigned 3pm-11:30pm shift, Monday through Friday
? Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in preventative or industrial maintenance preferred, but not required
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Capable of working both independently and in a team environment
  • Good verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a hands-on technical role
