Position: Compliance Coordinator - Temp to - Hire
MONDAY - FRIDAY 9AM-6PM
Location: Long Beach
SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for monitoring, collecting, updating and ensuring vendor and candidate compliance related to healthcare job classifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collects all healthcare credential and compliance information in accordance with company Operating Procedures.
• Performs auditing, data entry, reporting of credential documents and other administrative duties as assigned.
• Routinely conducts database review and evaluation to ensure compliance documents are uploaded and valid.
• Routinely and actively follows-up by phone and email to collect credential and compliance information
• Maintains good client and vendor relations
• Works effectively among workers and resolves issues.
• Recommends changes in programs, routines, and quality control standards to improve operating efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma
• 2 + years related experience and/or training.
• Healthcare compliance/staffing experience highly desired.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology related to medical positions.
REASONING ABILITY:
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral form.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office.
