Critical Care Float Pool Clinical Nurse III

Join the dynamic team in the Critical Care Float Pool and enhance your critical care skills while working in various specialized areas, including Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Cardiovascular ICU, and our progressive critical care unit.
Work Schedule: 36 hours/week, Days
Salary Range: $88,192.00 - $136,697.60
As a Clinical Nurse, you will:
- Implement physician orders and administer medications.
- Start IVs and perform treatments, procedures, and special tests.
- Document all treatments as required by company policies and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
- Assess patient needs and responses to care.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduated from a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree).
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
- Must maintain certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Progressive Care or ICU preferred.
- Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
