WE Transport is hiring in Suffolk County, Long Island. Don't have a CDL license? No problem We provide PAID CDL training to get you started.

What We Offer:

  • Flexible Schedule: Enjoy split-shift with morning and afternoon shifts.
  • Guaranteed Hours: Secure 25-30 hours per week.
  • PAID CDL Permit Training: Get your CDL without any cost.
  • $5000 Sign-on Bonus: For fully licensed NY CDL drivers with A, B, or C licenses with P & S endorsements.
  • Starting Pay Rate for Van Drivers: $24.37 (Must possess CDL A, B, or C with P and S Endorsements).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a school bus or van to transport students to and from school.
  • Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior to ensure a secure ride.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and district standards.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle when needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
  • Possess a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses, or a Class C with P & S endorsements for vans (or the willingness to obtain through our free training).
  • Non-CDL drivers must hold a valid driver's license and complete CDL permit training.
