WE Transport is currently hiring and offers PAID CDL training if you do not currently hold a CDL license, so you can kickstart your career with us

What You'll Enjoy:

  • Flexible Work Hours: Split-shifts available with morning and afternoon schedules.
  • Guaranteed Weekly Hours: Work 25-30 hours per week.
  • Sign-on Bonus: Receive up to $5,000 for fully licensed NY CDL drivers with P & S endorsements.
  • Starting Pay Rate: Earn $24.37 per hour for Van Drivers (CDL A, B or C with P & S Endorsement required).

Your Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a school bus or van to transport students to and from school.
  • Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior to ensure a safe ride.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws, along with district requirements.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
  • Assist children with boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary.

What We Need From You:

  • Must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
  • Hold a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses, or a Class C with P & S endorsements for vans (willingness to obtain through free training is acceptable).
  • Non-CDL drivers need a valid driver’s license and must complete CDL permit training.
