The Tax Senior Associate is a key contributor in a dynamic accounting team, focusing on advanced tax returns, client advisory, and mentorship. This role offers opportunities to grow professionally and contribute to the firm's overall development, with a pathway to becoming a firm principal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare complex tax returns with minimal supervision.
  • Client Advisory: Develop an understanding of clients' businesses to identify opportunities and propose solutions.
  • Mentorship: Coach junior associates on technical skills and processes.
  • Firm Contributions: Participate in firm knowledge building, recruiting efforts, and proposal development.
  • Technical Research: Support leadership with tax research for marketing and business initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of federal tax laws.
    • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong sense of accountability.
    • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience & Education:
    • 2+ years of tax experience, preferably in a small to mid- tier public accounting firm.
    • CPA designation (preferred) or in the process.
