Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Employment Details:

• Shift: Evening, Full-Time (40 hours/week)
• Pay Range: $26.10 - $39.15
• Sign-On Bonuses: $10,000 Sign-on bonus with relocation assistance available, plus a $2,000 bonus for PM shifts

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient surgical environment by utilizing aseptic techniques to prepare materials and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of various surgical procedures and assist in maintaining a sterile field during operations.
• Set up and break down operating rooms, including moving and returning equipment as necessary.
• Function as a second assistant during surgical procedures and communicate effectively with staff.
• Transport patients and equipment while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
• No prior experience is necessary, but knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical equipment is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring strength and stamina in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to utilize protective gear and operate essential equipment safely.
