Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Water Resources team in our Englewood, Colorado office. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities- Prepares preliminary analysis on a variety of technical tasks
- Project research, field work, observation and preliminary design calculations
- Take personal responsibility for quality of tasks performed
- Uses CAD to prepare and check working drawings, details, layouts and estimates
- Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data and work products
- Assist in the preparation of exhibits, plot plans, lot fits or other similar tasks by discipline
- Demonstrates willingness to accept new challenges and learn specialized field
- Growing knowledge of profession as demonstrated by involvement in related professional organizations and professional development programs
- Basic knowledge of the firm's policies, practices and procedures
- Basic knowledge of software required for position
- Good organizational skills
- Able to follow general directions and work with limited independence on basic computations
- Currently working towards completion of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Compensation Range Minimum
USD $20.00/Hr.
Compensation Range Maximum
USD $25.00/Hr.
