Dental Health Associates (DHA) in Madison, WI is seeking a full-time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our award-winning team. This role supports Dr. Audi Long at our Gammon locations. You'll enjoy a consistent Friday off every week, providing work-life balance alongside a predictable schedule.

****Key Responsibilities- Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficiency.
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
- Take dental x-rays and impressions, following all safety protocols.
- Educate patients on orthodontic care, including the use of retainers and proper oral hygiene techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
- Foster a positive experience for patients through excellent care and communication.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellent patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Previous orthodontic assistant experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures, terminology, and equipment is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a dental assistant program is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
Starting pay is $20/hour, with higher wages available for experienced orthodontic assistants. Experienced assistants are encouraged to apply for competitive pay tailored to your background.
